Diabetes Awareness: How Immunocal® Can Help

November marks Diabetes Awareness Month, a global movement dedicated to shedding light on the impact of diabetes, its management and need for better care. On this month, we come together to shine a light on this chronic condition that affects millions of people worldwide.

What is diabetes?

Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs when the body cannot produce enough insulin or use insulin effectively. Insulin is a hormone that helps the body’s cells use glucose for energy. When glucose levels build up in the blood, it can lead to serious health problems, such as heart disease, stroke, blindness, and kidney failure.

The global impact of diabetes

According to the World Health Organization, over 422 million people live with diabetes globally. This number is expected to rise to 629 million by 2045. Diabetes is a major public health concern, and it places a significant burden on healthcare systems and economies.

How can we take action?

There are many ways to take action on World Diabetes Day and throughout the year. Here are a few ideas:

  1. – Know your risk. Understanding the risk factors for diabetes is crucial. Talk to your doctor about your risk and get regular check-ups.
  2. – Make healthy lifestyle choices. A balanced diet and regular physical activity can help to prevent and manage diabetes. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
  3. – Limit processed foods, sugary drinks, and saturated and unhealthy fats.
  4. – Aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise most days of the week.

Use Immunocal® to minimize the long-term effects of diabetes

Immunocal is a unique whey protein isolate that has been shown to support your health in a number of ways.* Here are just a few of the benefits of how Immunocal can help sugar metabolism :

#1 Leader in Glutathione Supplement Research. Health Matters. Immunocal ® Works.

Cellular Protection

Immunocal acts as a master antioxidant, protecting cells from oxidative stress associated with sugar metabolism. Oxidative stress can damage cells and lead to a number of health problems relating to diabetes. By protecting cells from oxidative stress, Immunocal can help to support healthy metabolism.

Glutathione Precursor

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that plays a crucial role in retarding the long-term consequences of having diabetes, such as increased risk of cardiovascular complications. Immunocal is a rich source of Bonded Cysteine™, a precursor to glutathione production. By increasing glutathione levels, Immunocal can help to avoid large and small blood vessel disease which may lead to heart attacks, stroke, blindness, kidney failure, neuropathy and more.

Glutathione and Digestive Well-being

A healthy gut environment contributes to optimal digestion and nutrient absorption. Immunocal, as a uniquely patented glutathione precursor, supports the health of the gastrointestinal tract.

Glutathione aids in detoxifying the body, helping to remove harmful substances that may impact gut health negatively.

Immune System Support

A healthy gut is closely linked to a robust immune system, and elevated glutathione levels support immune function.

Brain Protection

There is a study that reviews the capacity of a cystine-rich, whey protein supplement (Immunocal®) to enhance the de novo synthesis of GSH in neurons, and highlights its potential as a novel therapeutic approach to mitigate the oxidative damage that underlies the pathogenesis of various neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s disease. In addition to these benefits for diabetics, Immunocal has also been shown to improve athletic performance, and promote overall health and well-being. Immunocal Platinum combines the benefits of Immunocal with two unique components: Cytokine Modulating Peptides (CMP)™ and Redox Modulating Formula (RMF)™ for healthy aging and more holistic approach to overall wellness. *

1. Cytokine Modulating Peptides (CMP)™

What are CMPs?

Compact proteins that finely control the immune response.

How do they work?

Toggles inflammation on or off in cells and tissues.

Benefits: Assists in the management of inflammation’s impact on health conditions.

2. Redox Modulating Formula (RMF)™ *

 What is RMF?

An exceptional blend of creatine and natural citrate minerals (potassium, magnesium, and calcium).

How does it work?

Lowers acidity levels to support natural pH balance.

Benefits: Enhances bone health, and supports kidney health. Safeguards lean muscle mass, ensuring peak vitality.*

It is recommended to take Immunocal Platinum on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before a meal. This will help to ensure that the protein in Immunocal is absorbed quickly and efficiently.

Immunocal can be mixed with water, juice, or yogurt. It can also be added to smoothies or shakes. With its unique and natural combination of benefits, Immunocal can help you to improve your overall health and well-being.

I always mix immunocal and the platinum together along with the immunocal booster on an empty stomach with a little water, is that ok?
